 Brooke Large, Director of Strategic Partnerships

Brooke has worked in client services and business development for fifteen years in the utility, telecommunications, and software verticals. With a central focus in Client Relations, Brooke’s roles have been very diverse, with an intention of developing a broad skill set, across Account Management, Marketing, Operations, Business Development/Growth, and Sales. As Director of Strategic Partnerships, Brooke will be developing relationships with Tealbook’s existing and future partners to collaborate on prospective client engagements and develop strategies to expand Tealbook’s market presence. Brooke was born and raised in the Midwest US (Columbus, OH), and has a passion for travel, trying new things, and volunteering locally in her community. 

David Follert, Director of Customer Success

David has been working with various tech start-up companies in the Customer Success space for more than nine years with a focus on building and driving the right processes and strategies necessary for customers to find value comfortably and quickly. David has a passion for coaching and building deep relationships with both the customers and the teams he leads and is excited to bring his experience to Tealbook. David is born and raised in Toronto, and loves music, travel, and cooking.

 Lori Rentz, Director of Brand and Content Marketing

Lori comes to Tealbook with 25 years of experience building brands, engaging with diverse audiences, and promoting an organization’s products and services. Her marketing career started in magazine publishing, moved on to owning and operating a successful marketing consultant business, then into sports flooring, and most recently she completed a ten-year tenure leading the marketing and communications efforts for a private aircraft management and jet charter services company. She is thrilled to bring her expansive experience connecting with buyers of all demographics to Tealbook where she will focus on solidifying our voice in the market and building meaningful marketing programs to support our sales goals. Lori grew up in Western NY before claiming Ohio as home when she attended college at Wittenberg University. She currently lives in Cincinnati with her husband Paul and their two teenaged sons. She is a voracious reader, passionate about finding the best wines under $15, and tries new restaurants every chance she gets.

 Ali Abago, Software Engineer

Ali is one of our newest back-end software engineers. He has spent the last 10+ years as a full stack developer and business analyst working for a tech consulting firm. This has afforded him the opportunity to gain development exposure in a wide array of industries. With a passionate and optimistic mind-set, he is looking to use his experience to help Tealbook expand their opportunities and achieve success on the development front. Ali grew up and has lived in Toronto, Canada for most of his life but was originally born in Kenya. He is a lover of comedy and cannot get enough of live local music.

 Natalie Wilson, Marketing Manager

Natalie is Tealbook’s new Marketing Manager. She brings a strong technical and writing background to the team, and spent the last few years working as an agency copywriter and SEO analyst. An alumna of Bowling Green State University, Natalie studied Creative Writing in school and still has a lifelong dream of publishing a novel, but that will come after she helps get Tealbook to the top of Google search results. She is looking forward to being a part of such a welcoming and dedicated team and being part of Tealbook’s continued success. Natalie lives in Cincinnati, OH, two hours south of the farm she grew up on, and adores her two dogs Opal and Bennett.

Jervis Pinto, Staff Software Engineer

Jervis joins Tealbook with over 10 years of industry and academic experience in machine learning and software engineering. He has previously worked in cloud-based SaaS startups as well as large enterprises in the US. He joins Tealbook’s backend Data and ML team, focusing on platform infrastructure and data quality. Jervis is passionate about the cloud, software engineering, and machine learning. Tealbook’s data and platform combine all of these so he is thrilled to be on the team. Jervis was born in India, spent most of his adult life in different parts of the U.S., and is now based in Toronto. He enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors.

Rose Genele, Sales Support Manager

Although an entrepreneur at heart, and having helped to build 

many e-commerce B2C companies, Rose has spent most of her corporate career in legal and regulatory affairs. With such a wide-ranging skillset, she now manages sales operations for Tealbook 

to enable seamless workflows and access to data, content, and reporting. She does this by uncovering blind spots and building out processes and standards to keep the sales team running smoothly and successfully. Rose grew up near Caledon, and now lives by the Beaches in Toronto. trained in classical music—loves enjoying a night at Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO), Beach Volleyball, trying gins from around the world.

Alia MacDonald, Executive Assistant

Alia comes to Tealbook from the world of events marketing. She brings with her nearly a decade of experience in various administrative positions and a track record of strong performance in high-volume, high-pressure environments. She prides herself in her rapid-fire responsiveness and dedication to bettering her team by jumping in to lend a helping hand wherever possible. In addition to working closely with our CEO, she also tackles general HR practices at Tealbook ensuring continued compliance with policies, all new hire onboarding, as well as benefits and HRIS administration and management. Alia is a lifelong Torontonian, lover of all things Halloween (including prop building), baker, and Drag Race superfan.

 Tyler Koopmans, Solutions Consultant

Joined Tealbook April 13, 2020

Prior to joining the Tealbook team earlier this year, Tyler gained five years of broad procurement experience by leading product design for a startup which was acquired by one of the most prominent S2P solutions. His talents range from application development and product design to implementation and technical sales. Tyler’s expansive technical background facilitates in-depth discussions and meaningful training sessions with customers, prospects, and team members. He is also positioned to design innovative solutions in a way that will be most effective in driving business value for our clients. In his leisure time, Tyler enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, playing hockey any chance he gets, and cheering on his Kentucky basketball teams.

 Christine King, Director of Digital Marketing

Christine joined Tealbook with nearly 15 years of marketing experience in driving global brands and startups from B2C to B2B. She’s gained notable exposure to a wide variety of advertising and marketing concepts yielding strong ROI and industry exposure for each brand she’s touched. As an accomplished and agile marketing strategist, Christine enjoys identifying and optimizing distinctive opportunities with a variety of cross-disciplinary approaches to deliver innovative solutions. Whether social media, branding, advertising, print, or digital programs – she’s built creative campaigns to deliver against benchmarked goals. Christine has a sincere passion for the creative arts, mentoring, team collaboration, hyper-growth strategies, social activism, the occasional auto show, and spending time with her family.
